When the Practice is Closed
If you require medical attention outside our normal hours please telephone the practice (01908) 609240. You will be directed to the Out Of Hours service or given advice on how to contact them. If you require medical advice please contact NHS Direct (0845 4647).
Accidents and Casualties
There are no casualty facilities at the surgery. If you need stitches or there is a risk of poisoning or you have a burn or suspect a broken bone it is best to go directly to the accident and emergency department at Milton Keynes General Hospital which is open 24 hours a day.
Chest Pain
If you are experiencing chest pain it is advisable to go straight to casualty or to telephone 999 for an ambulance. Especially if you suffer from one or more of the following: a history of heart disease, have difficulty breathing, sweating, nauseous or vomiting or pale in colour.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
